If We Were Having Coffee // Star Wars Tickets and a Quiet Fall Break

  1. I’m glad you were able to get those tickets! I remember taking my kids to opening day for several movies…for the midnight showing…even if it meant them missing school the next day. What fun and the energy of the crowd at the movie will be amazingly contagious!

The journaling sounds like it’s a really good project for you…for anyone!

Enjoy your time off from work!

    1. I’ve seen many movies over the years on opening day and I love it. A lot of people I know hate the crowds but I think it’s awesome to be in a place with so many other people sharing the same passion for a story as you.

      Thanks for stopping by :)

  2. Glad to hear you got tickets! We haven’t done that yet, and I’m trying to decide if we’re going to brave the theater on opening day or wait. That’s actually my mom’s birthday, and she wants to go that day, but taking Little Jedi to opening day of a movie in NOLA is daunting, and I can’t see it without him! lol

Sam and I ended up spending more on our photographer than we did on any other part of our wedding, and I’m glad we did. We went to the Neon Boneyard in Las Vegas and got married with an Elvis and a showgirl as our witnesses, and it was mostly stress-free and tons of fun. I advocate fun weddings over big weddings, but most of all happy weddings. :)

  3. A week off for writing sounds wonderful. Have fun! I love to journal and I totally get the need for something analog. I journal in a good old notebook and keep my novel notes in a separate notebook. Have a great week.
