You Owe Me an Apology

You never should’ve done what you did
But you at least should’ve said sorry
Yeah, you owe me that
and a whole lot more by the way

You really should have apologized by now
But I know you never will
You’ll never even say it happened
but you owe me all the same

You think you won
You think aren’t to blame
But something inside you asks my pardon
Something inside you is ashamed

Your suffering
Your loneliness
They call out to make amends

I hear you
I hate you
And I wish you the worst of ends

    1. Thank you! It was written in response to one of the Daily Post’s Discover Challenges but who I was writing about I’d rather not say :/
