The Weeks End // A Few of My Favorite Internet Things

Happy Saturday everyone! If you’re looking for some interesting reads to check out while you kick back and relax, look no further. Every Saturday I like to share with you the most interesting things I found across the great, wide web. Enjoy!

A short, simple, but incredibly adorable  animation that felt emotional even if I’m not entirely sure what it was about.

So many people have been through so many terrible things. Sometimes you survive it. You get better and you build a life, but sometimes you are still pissed, and that’s okay.

My very favorite Twitter account, @LosFelizDaycare, a fake account for a fake daycare and a hilarious take on modern parenting. Comedic gold!

It’s a beautiful thing to be in love, especially when you get the hang of being two people who live a world of their own inside of and apart from the  greater world with everyone else.

They have found the most drug-resistant bacteria here in the US. The CDC is basically saying the end times are coming.

Thanks to social media and bloggers willing to share their stories we are all learning more about mental illness than ever before, but we still have a long way to go.

Fyodor Dostoyevsky reminds us that pessimism is part of being human, that we may not be satisfied with that perfect peaceful liberal paradise we dream of, and that we may not know ourselves as well as we think.

Early mornings have their charm, but for some people, true love is only found in the dark and lovely hours of the night.

A poem that wonders why is one way better than another? And how do we begin to make sense of it?

We all knew Star Wars: The Force Awakens was nothing but a remix of older movies and here is the proof. We still love it, though :)

And that’s it for this week. Have you read, watched, heard, or written an interesting thing this week? Has something on the internet made you think or feel strongly? If so, drop a link in the comments :)
