  1. I’m glad that you are able to at least share time when you cook after she gets home. I would also like to encourage you to seek help with that anxiety. You can’t let yourself keep suffering like that.

  2. you and your girlfriend must have such a strong and supportive relationship, and congrats on the 15 years! i’m glad you care so much about each other, but i do agree with your point that there’s only so much she can do about your anxiety – seeking help for it does seem like the best thing to do in your situation. i wish you all the best for the future!

  3. You know, I think this is the first time I’ve read your coffee blog with an actual cup of coffee next to me! (I’ll go ahead and salute you with it). Something about the past two weeks has been damned difficult for a lot of people (and with school coming up around the bend, most of them are fleeing in droves for last-minute vacations).

I get the working thing–I worried myself into a migraine trying to get all I need to done and get over my own fears of failure and dying and being broke forever. Yeah, still got a bit of it niggling at me upstairs, which is why hitting a heavy bag after training today will be SO therapeutic.

I eventually had to get off the line last night because of all the back and forth about the Charlottesville thing. It’s disgraceful that racism is still an issue, let alone the violence that ensues. Hugs and prayers all around–I think we all need them.
